Poggy Badge Props

A prop pack for Poggy Badges: 37 3D badges for lawmen, towns, doctors and officials, and five cloth armbands in nine sizes each.

  • poggy_badge_propsv1.0.2
  • FrameworksVORP Core, RSG Core, QBCore RedM
  • Updated5 Oct 2026

Overview#

This pack only adds 3D models. It has no settings and no commands of its own. Poggy Badges is what pins them on a character: you give a job's grade one of these model names as its prop.

  • Law badges from Deputy to Commissioner: sheriff, under sheriff, town and state marshals, city police, sergeant, chief of police, detective, rangers, constable, bailiff, jailer, railroad police, express guard, game warden, bounty hunter and more.
  • Eight town badges: Valentine, Rhodes, Strawberry, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Annesburg, Tumbleweed and Armadillo.
  • Medical and civic badges: Doctor, Physician, Nurse, Undertaker, Veterinarian, Mayor, Fire Brigade, Post & Telegraph and Press.
  • Five armbands: medic, mourning, posse, quarantine and press, each in nine sizes so they fit a bare arm or a thick coat.

Poggy Badges already includes a badge-flash picture for every prop in this pack.

Requirements#

WhatWhy
RedM with VORP Core, RSG Core or QBCore RedMThe props work on any of the three.
Nothing elseThe pack is models only and runs no script, so it does not need poggy_core itself. Poggy Badges does.
Poggy Badges 1.4.0 or newerPuts the props on characters. 1.4.0 adds the matching pictures, arm bones and the Size slider; 1.5.0 starts the armbands on the arm by themselves.

Installation#

  1. Download poggy_badge_props from your Cfx portal and put the folder in your server's resources folder.
  2. In server.cfg, start the pack before Poggy Badges:
    ensure poggy_core
    ensure poggy_badge_props
    ensure poggy_badge
  3. Restart the server. Players download the models when they join.
  4. Give a job a badge from the pack (see Using it in game).

Restart the whole server to add or update the pack. Stopping or restarting a prop pack while players are online can leave its models missing or broken until they reconnect.

Using it in game#

Give a job a badge

  1. Open /poggy → Poggy Badge → Badges → Badge sets.
  2. Open the set for the job (or add one) and pick a grade.
  3. Set Prop model to a name from this pack, for example p_poggy_badge_sheriff.
  4. Set Badge image to the matching picture: the same name with poggy_ in place of p_poggy_badge_, for example poggy_sheriff.
  5. Click Save & Restart.

To try a prop on your own character first, admins can type /bprop <model>.

Armbands

The game cannot stretch a prop, so each armband comes as nine models, _s1 (smallest) to _s9 (largest). For the grade that wears it, turn on advanced settings and set:

FieldWhat to put
Prop modelThe size players start with, for example p_poggy_armband_medic_s3
SizesAll nine names, p_poggy_armband_medic_s1 to p_poggy_armband_medic_s9, smallest first
Starting boneLeave it unset for the left arm, or pick Right upper arm
Badge imagepoggy_armband_medic
Prop held up by Show Badge (optional)A badge to hold up instead of the armband, for example p_poggy_badge_doctor

The same grade in config.lua:

[0] = {
    badge    = "poggy_armband_medic",
    prop     = "p_poggy_armband_medic_s3",
    sizes    = { "p_poggy_armband_medic_s1", "p_poggy_armband_medic_s2", "p_poggy_armband_medic_s3",
                 "p_poggy_armband_medic_s4", "p_poggy_armband_medic_s5", "p_poggy_armband_medic_s6",
                 "p_poggy_armband_medic_s7", "p_poggy_armband_medic_s8", "p_poggy_armband_medic_s9" },
    showProp = "p_poggy_badge_doctor",
},

Players then type /badge and move the Size slider until it fits, and save a preset per outfit.

Troubleshooting#

The prop does not appear

Check the pack is started before poggy_badge in server.cfg, and that the model name is spelled exactly. The F8 console prints Failed to load model for a wrong name.

There is no Size slider for an armband

The grade needs its Sizes list (all nine names, smallest first), and Poggy Badges 1.4.0 or newer.

The armband starts on the chest

Poggy Badges 1.5.0 or newer starts pack armbands on the left arm by itself. On 1.4.0, set the grade's Starting bone to an upper arm.

The flash shows no picture

Check Badge image is the poggy_ name (for example poggy_sheriff, not the prop name). The pictures come with Poggy Badges 1.4.0 or newer.

Updating#

This pack is not updated by poggy_core's updater. A new version is a new download from your Cfx portal: replace the folder and restart the whole server, never restart poggy_badge_props with players online. Poggy Badges itself still updates the usual way: see Updates.

From 1.0.2 the pack runs no script and no longer needs poggy_core. Nothing changes in server.cfg.

In 1.0.1 the armbands became wider side to side than front to back, to sit closer to the sleeve. A position saved before that may need a small nudge in /badge.
