RedM Badge Props Pack Poggy Badge Props

37 badge props and five cloth armbands for RedM, modelled for Poggy Badges: lawmen from Deputy to Commissioner, eight town badges, and medical and civic badges, each with its own flash picture. VORP Core, RSG Core and QBCore RedM.

A RedM badge props pack: 37 badge models and five cloth armbands, made for Poggy Badges. Every badge is domed, with raised centres, rolled rims and worn plating, and every one comes with its own flash picture.

The badges

  • Law, by office: Deputy Sheriff, County Sheriff, Under Sheriff, Town Marshal, City Marshal, State Marshal, Constable, Ranger, City Police, Police Sergeant, Detective, Chief of Police, Commissioner, Jailer, Court Bailiff, Bounty Hunter, Railroad Police, Express Guard, Game Warden and Indian Police.
  • Law, by town: Valentine, Rhodes, Strawberry, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Annesburg, Tumbleweed and Armadillo.
  • Medical and civic: Doctor, Physician, Nurse, Undertaker, Veterinarian, Mayor, Fire Brigade, Post & Telegraph and Press.
  • Gold, silver, nickel, brass, bronze and dark iron, some with blue, red, white, green or black enamel.
  • Several have real cut-outs: you see the shirt through the gaps round the star.

The armbands

  • Five kinds: medic (white with a sewn red cross), mourning (black), posse, quarantine (yellow) and press.
  • Each comes in nine sizes, because RedM cannot scale a prop. Players pick the size that fits their outfit with the Size slider in Poggy Badges and save it with their preset.
  • Slightly conical, narrower at the elbow, so it sits on a sleeve instead of floating round it.
  • Worn on the left or right upper arm.

How it works with Poggy Badges

  • Start this pack before Poggy Badges.
  • In /poggy → Poggy Badge → Badge sets, set a grade's Prop model to a name from the pack, for example p_poggy_badge_sheriff, and its Badge image to poggy_sheriff.
  • For an armband, also set the grade's starting bone to an upper arm and list its nine sizes. The help page in /poggy walks through it.
  • Admins can try any prop on themselves with /bprop <model>.

Frameworks and requirements

  • Poggy Badges 1.4.0 or newer, to pin the props on, resize armbands and show the flash pictures.
  • poggy_core 0.13.0 or newer (free).
  • VORP Core, RSG Core or QBCore RedM, through poggy_core.
  • The models are escrowed streamed props. There is no config and no database.

Updates

poggy_core installs new versions of the pack, so added badges arrive on their own.

Questions about Poggy Badge Props

What is in the pack?

37 badge models and five armbands (medic, mourning, posse, quarantine and press). The badges cover law offices from Deputy Sheriff to Commissioner, eight town badges, and medical and civic roles such as Doctor, Nurse, Undertaker, Veterinarian, Mayor, Fire Brigade, Post & Telegraph and Press.

Do I need Poggy Badges?

The pack is made for Poggy Badges 1.4.0 or newer, which pins the props on, adds the arm bones and the Size slider for armbands, and ships the matching flash pictures. The models are ordinary streamed props, so any script that attaches a prop by model name can use them.

Why do the armbands come in nine sizes?

RedM cannot scale a prop, so each armband is nine models, from a bare arm to a thick coat. In Poggy Badges the player moves a Size slider and saves the size with their preset.

Are the badges domed or flat?

Domed. Each badge bulges off the chest, with raised centres, rolled rims and worn plating, and several have real cut-outs you can see the shirt through.

How do I add one to a job?

Start the pack before Poggy Badges, then set a grade's Prop model to a name from the pack, for example p_poggy_badge_sheriff, and its Badge image to poggy_sheriff. The README lists every name.

Which frameworks does Poggy Badge Props work with?

Poggy Badge Props works with VORP Core, RSG Core and QBCore RedM through poggy_core, which detects the framework at runtime and has a proven adapter for each, so there is one build and nothing to configure. It requires Poggy Badges 1.4.0 or newer, poggy_core 0.13.0 or newer (free) and your framework (VORP Core, RSG Core or QBCore RedM).

How is Poggy Badge Props delivered after I pay?

Instantly. Checkout runs through Tebex, which asks you to sign in with your Cfx.re account before items can be added to the basket, and the licence is tied to that Cfx.re account rather than a key to paste.

Does Poggy Badge Props get updates?

Yes. It runs on Poggy, a live RedM server, and updates are included with every licence. Support is in the Poggy Discord.
